Your Career – Enjoy the Journey!

It’s my birthday! It got me thinking ……… I’m happy, I’m healthy, and I have a career that I absolutely love.

It took me a while to find what I was meant to be in doing in my life, but recruitment, without a doubt, is my purpose. I’ve known it from the day I started and 23 years later that hasn’t changed.

The roles I did leading up to my life in recruitment had their purpose as well. They made me the recruiter and business woman I am today. At times it felt frustrating because I knew I had so much more to give, to be, to do. I got there in the end and looking back now, I know everything happened just when it was meant to.

So when it comes to your career ……… Trust your intuition, follow your dreams, never give up, study, put in the effort, let your HR Manager know your aspirations as they may have some great advice and work towards your goals. But most importantly, enjoy the journey and have fun along the way!
